The Office of the Law Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus and the Law Commission of England and Wales, are organizing, with the support of the Cyprus Bar Association and the Press and Information Office, an educational conference titled “Reforming the Law: Perspectives from the Office of the Law Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus and the Law Commission of England and Wales”. The conference will take place at the Constantinos Leventis Amphitheatre at the Leventis Gallery on 5 A.G. Leventis Street, 1097, Nicosia on the 05 November, 2024 from 08:30 until 18:00.

The conference aims in training civil servants, lawyers, legal practitioners and academics in the field of law reform. Focusing on the various aspects of law reform, the conference will develop specific thematics dealing, inter alia, with the drafting of bills, the methodology behind law reform and the importance/impact of such law reform.
